Classic childhood toys I ~ bubbles

and simple, timeless fun :)

My little girl has been so helpful featuring in children's product projects these past few months, so in appreciation I bought her some classic childhood things to play with... a fabulous bubble maker, bubble mix, and lots of sidewalk chalk!

FUN!!

And she also chose for herself little toy cars (a favourite toy of late), and luxury chocolates from our favourite chocolate shop. :)

More fun with the art and play supplies my little girl earnt being my photography model recently.

Late Autumn Walk

It's nearly Spring and here I am posting some images from a late Autumn walk in the rose gardens with an adventurous two year old, in vintage thrifted coat, stripey tights and favourite red shoes, first baby plaits, and exquisite pearl jewellery from Little Pearls, all on a gorgeous (though cold) late afternoon. xo

You can't see a lot of the little pearls here but Little Pearls was also the inspiration and reason for our beautiful little garden walk/adventure that late May day. :)

This gazebo in the rose gardens was soon called the 'little house'. Fun to run back and forth to, after rose and garden explorations...

Nearly Winter and there were still many roses in bloom.

And then the little one slowed down, at last, to explore walking big brother's scooter here there and everywhere.

This is what I wrote then: Her brother's scooter. She adores it, walks it everywhere and wishes she could balance it properly and ride it without needing someone to help her balance. I'm sure she will some day...

... and now of course she is a pro!

Wild Things of Noosa, Summer dresses 2009/10

I photographed some new season summer 2009/10 dresses for Wild Things of Noosa one cold, cold winter's day last month. Midwinter's day in fact! Hence the indoor location. ;)

I have been photographing for Little Pearls as well, and you can see one of their gorgeous little pearl bracelets above, and a glimpse of pearl necklace and bracelet in the image below as well. :)

New summer dresses are available from Wild Things of Noosa. This one is the summer princess dress. I love those soda pop dots, and the pink is very pretty too. More soon...

Little pearl bracelets and necklaces for little girls can be found at Little Pearls.

Museum work ~ something else keeping me busy right now

Something a little different!
Annual collection photography for the museum, every year a different collection or subject matter to catalogue, worked through in bulk (i.e. hundreds).
Not related to child photography at all, but one day had a touch of something childlike and sweet...
