Lake Tekapo love!
Lake Tekapo, aka my new favourite place in the world, is a stunning, turquoise blue glacier-fed, high country lake in the Mackenzie District, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Best place to be and explore on a perfect, still Autumn day. x

Little forest fairytale II
which I adore,
imperfections and all
maybe even more
What more do you need?
Here is another little forest fairytale, at half this age again, eighteen months, which feels like both yesterday and a world away from today.

much love monday, on a tuesday eve ♥
♥
hearts apple tree leaves for much love Mondays
i love apple trees
I love blueberries,
orchards,
fresh picked apples,
berry picking in school holidays,
apple picking through university.
no wonder apple trees remind me of my childhood, and tertiary education.
berries,
fruit thinning, apple picking,
working summers and autumns, in-between class terms,
a chance to meditate and enjoy nature
while working outdoors
among apple trees :)
gathering apples in Autumn :)
from our own little apple tree
(i've posted these last ones before... but can't leave them out!)

Winter rose gardens II ~ Looking for Spring
These are my last few favourites from last year's Winter rose gardens,
a short play in the gardens, looking for signs of Spring.
garden child

The roses were pruned in their winter beds, but we found winter flowers, camellia bushes, and new daffodils on the outskirts of the gardens, and played hide and seek among the pathways and trees.
