by Anne-Dauphine Julliand

A mother's story of a charming, wonderful little girl, who becomes ill...

Hagley Park, winter stories

*I have this little sister Amélie. She is small and very funny.

I have this little sister Amélie. She is small and very funny.

Pink milk for you if you know the above reference.
Little big brother was at school when we were here at the park, but that* is what he says about her. Especially lately! And I do think my little girl is especially looking like Lola here.

She is exactly like Lola at present, or at least very similar, including her voice and the things she says, of course. Poor Lili. Lucky me. :)

Hagley Park and the return of gingerbread for morning tea! :)

Gingerbread happiness because the cafe at the park was open again.

These delicious and handsome gingerbread people are made by Molly Woppy. You can also order them online. Yum! (But only if in New Zealand)

Lake Tekapo love!

Lake Tekapo, aka my new favourite place in the world, is a stunning, turquoise blue glacier-fed, high country lake in the Mackenzie District, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Best place to be and explore on a perfect, still Autumn day. x

Bouncy ball commercial, still photographs by Peter Funch

Love these still photographs,

(and the idea behind the actual bouncy ball commercial :D)

As sold in limited edition prints via LUMAS, photographs by Peter Funch taken during production of the commercial in which 250,000 or so bouncy balls were let free down a San Francisco street. I never remember who the ad was for (sorry!) but I always remember the song, and the idea, which I love! So childlike, and fun.
